On December 5, as part of the eleventh day of the “Balance for Better Future” campaign under the “16 Days of Activism”, a program was organized at Mahila Mahavidyalaya Degree College, Kanpur. The program included a speech competition, slogan and poster writing, and short video clips, with a total of 89 certificates awarded.
The program was conducted by Dr. Pragya. At the beginning of the program, the principal of the college, Dr. Anju Chaudhary, welcomed Ms. Neelam Chaturvedi, the Secretary of Sakhi Kendra, and honored her with a gift of a plant. She praised Sakhi Kendra and said that it was their privilege to host the program in their college.
Ms. Neelam Chaturvedi after viewing the posters made by the students, said that if we want to create an atmosphere of equality in society, we have to start from our homes. She also promised to provide all students and faculty of the college with 5 days of self-defense training soon. Hundreds of students were present as spectators and listeners.
Certificates were given to the students who came first, second, and third, and other people were also given certificates for better question-answer and for presenting their point of view in a better way.
