On December 2, Sakhi Kendra, in association with Virendra Swarup Institute of Professional Studies, Kanpur, marked the eighth day of the “16 Days of Activism” campaign with a series of events under the “Balance for Better Future” initiative.
The day was packed with a variety of activities, including speech competitions, slogan and poster writing, and the creation of short video clips. The students passionately expressed their views on gender inequality and suggested various ways to foster an environment of gender equality. The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with hundreds of students participating and attending as spectators.
A panel of judges evaluated the speech competition. The students who secured the first, second, and third positions were awarded certificates. Certificates were also given to other participants for their insightful questions and eloquent presentations.
